Creatinine measurement is the key parameter in detecting renal, muscular and thyroid dysfunction. The accurate detection of creatinine level may be informative regarding functional processes these systems help early acute diseases.There are lots techniques available for human blood serum, most them mainly based on spectroscopic (spectrophotometry, colorimetry fluorimetric). Other electrochemical, impedometrical, Ion Selective Field-Effect Transistor (ISFET) chromatography techniques. Each method has its own advantages few limitations(limitation would better word) selectivity, sensitivity, reproducibility, cost effective, point-of-care etc. Few methods electrochemical recently promising at with adequate sensitivity selectivity.
